Product Limited Warranty

Overview

At Dermave, we stand behind the quality of our beauty technology. We offer a Limited Warranty to original purchasers covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, during the applicable warranty periods outlined below.

All warranty periods begin on the original date of purchase.

Warranty Coverage

Dermave warrants that its products will be free from defects in workmanship and materials during the applicable Warranty Period, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The product was purchased directly from dermave.co or an authorized Dermave retailer.
  • You can provide valid proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation number, receipt).
  • The product has been used only as intended and in accordance with all provided user manuals and instructions.

If a defect arises during the Warranty Period, Dermave will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective product or component with a new item.

Warranty Periods

1. Standard Warranty – 6 Months

All customers who purchase a Dermave device (one-time purchase) are automatically covered by 6 Months Limited Warranty beginning on the original date of delivery. This covers the battery, motor, and internal electronics against manufacturer defects. Refunds are not offered under this warranty; repair or replacement only.

2. Lifetime Warranty – Active Refill Subscribers

Customers enrolled in Dermave’s Refill Subscription Program receive a Lifetime Warranty on their device while their subscription remains active.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Active Status: You must have an active refill subscription at the time of the claim.
  • Minimum Activity: You must have received at least one refill shipment within the 90 days preceding your warranty claim.
  • Claim Limit: Eligible for up to two (2) warranty replacements per 12-month period.
  • Cancellation Policy: If the refill subscription is canceled, the warranty coverage immediately reverts to the Standard 1-Year Warranty, calculated from your original device purchase date. (e.g., If you cancel after 18 months, your warranty is considered expired).

3. Consumables & Accessories – 30 Days

Dermave offers a 30-Day Limited Warranty on all consumable attachments (e.g. trimmer heads) and accessories (e.g., travel cases, charging cables), starting from the original date of delivery. Refunds are not offered under this warranty; repair or replacement only.

What Is Not Covered

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Gradual degradation of battery life or bristles over time.
  • Cosmetic Damage: Scratches, dents, discoloration, or fading that does not affect functionality.
  • Accidental Damage: Damage from drops, water submersion (beyond IPX rating), or improper storage.
  • Misuse or Abuse: Use with non-Dermave chargers, serums, or unauthorized attachments.
  • Unauthorized Modifications: Attempts to open, repair, or modify the device by anyone other than Dermave support.
  • Unauthorized Sellers: Purchases made from unauthorized third-party resellers (e.g., eBay, unauthorized Amazon sellers) are not covered.

How to File a Warranty Claim

We make the process simple. To initiate a claim:

  1. Contact Us: Email support@dermave.co with the subject line "Warranty Claim".
  2. Include Details: Please provide your Order Number, a photo/video of the defect, and a brief description of the issue.
  3. Review: Our team will review your claim within 48 hours.
  4. Resolution: If approved, we will provide a prepaid return label to send back the defective unit. Once received and inspected, a replacement unit will be shipped to you within 5–7 business days.

Legal Disclaimer

This Limited Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Dermave with respect to its products, and supersedes any prior or other representations, whether oral or written.

1. Limitation of Implied Warranties To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the duration of the applicable express warranty periods outlined above (6 Months Standard Standard or Lifetime Subscription Warranty).

2. Exclusion of Damages Dermave shall not be liable for any incidental, special, indirect, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of use or functionality.
  • Loss of time, revenue, or profits.
  • Inconvenience, personal injury, or property damage.
  • Damage to other products (e.g., skincare serums, furniture) used in conjunction with the device.

3. State Law Rights Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

4. Maximum Liability In no event shall Dermave’s total liability under this warranty exceed the actual original purchase price paid by you for the product.

5. Authorized Representation No Dermave employee, representative, retailer, or agent is authorized to alter, extend, or modify this warranty or to make any additional warranties or representations on behalf of Dermave.
